Option 2: Monero-Wallet-CLI (Professional/Headless)

 

Since you are comfortable with the terminal, you can create a wallet using the tools already sitting in your ~/monero-build folder.

1. Navigate to your binaries: cd ~/monero-build/monero-x86_64-linux-gnu-v*/.

2. Run the wallet creator: ./monero-wallet-cli.

3. Follow the prompts:

   • Give your wallet a name.

   • Set a strong password.

   • CRITICAL: Write down the 25-word mnemonic seed on physical paper. Never store this in a digital file or a screenshot.
